This idea was brought to me by my college professor in a studio drawing class; the project was to complete a self portrait made out of words. Just words. Once I learned this technique, I fell in love. Doing portraits and artwork out of text can be as anonymous or personal as I want; however, personal artwork makes it that much more brilliant. I decided to start commission work; clients would send me a photo of whatever they want and a text to be incorporated into the image. I turn it into an original piece of work for them that is not only sentimental but unique. I worked with these clients to bring their ideas to life, introduce new ones, and make sure that what they want is exactly what they get. I have since decided to move away from this work and focus my energy on motion design.
